Q.  Are Plaza Urology Group physicians board-certified?
A.  Yes. All of our doctors are certified by the American Board of Urology.

Q.  Are we participating with TennCare or Georgia Medicaid?
A.  No.

Q.  In which hospitals do we do surgery?
A.  Parkridge Downtown and Memorial Downtown are our two main hospitals.  Several of our doctors also operate at Memorial North Park and Hutcheson Medical Center.

Q.  At which hospitals do we have privileges?
A.  All of our physicians have privileges at Parkridge Downtown, Memorial Downtown, Hutcheson Medical Center and Parkridge East.

Q.  If I’m a patient of Plaza Urology and I have problems in the night or on weekends, which ER do I go to?
A.  We prefer you use the Park Ridge downtown or Memorial downtown ER.

Q.  Do we accept assignment with Medicare?
A.  Yes.

Q.  Do we perform circumcision on infants?
A.  No.

Q.  Are there other options for erectile dysfunction besides Viagra?
A.  Yes. There are several different options for ED, both medical and surgical.

Q.  Is there a requirement on the number of children before a vasectomy is done?
A.  No.

Q.  Is there an age limit?
A.  No.

Q.  Will we perform a vasectomy on a single male?
A.  Yes.

Q.  Will the vasectomy be done the first time I see the doctor?
A.  No.  The first visit is for the doctor to determine if you are a good candidate for a vasectomy and for you to learn what to expect with the procedure.

Q.  What is the success rate of a vasectomy reversal?
A.  It depends on how long it has been since the vasectomy.

Q.  Will insurance pay for a vasectomy reversal?
A.  Often no.

Q.  How much does a vasectomy reversal cost?
A.  Total package around $8,000.00 including hospital, anesthesia and surgeon's fees.
